Historical popular markets

The popular markets are fascinating places, especially ‘a Fera o luni‘ (the Monday market) and ‘La Pescheria‘ (the fish market), where selling is done according the Arab ritual, a hangover from the domination of long ago, and are usually carried out with haggling over the prices and ‘abbanniate‘ (exalting your merchandise by shouting in dialect).
